Gayle King blames CBS Shock-Value promo fallout. New Show (LEGENDARY) on HBO Max Jameel Jamil Backlash.

HBO Max has in the works a show called Legendary it derives from the LGBTQIA community it draws inspiration from a ballroom scene movement that gained mainstream popularity in the '80s in New York. Now The backlash about this show began last Tuesday when news broke that the Good Place actress Jameela Jamil would serve as MC for the series which has no ballroom experience, especially considering how many talented people from the community itself would have jumped at the opportunity. HBO Max has clarified, she will not serve as MC; instead, she will be a lead judge, alongside RAPPER Megan Thee Stallion, Law Roach fashion stylist to the stars Celine Dion he transformed her style, and the ICONIC Leiomy Maldonado. “King of Vogue” DaShaun Wesley will instead serve as MC. 

In a CBS promo with Gayle King has been majorly criticized for asking former basketball player Lisa Leslie about the 2003 rape allegations made against the late NBA star Kobe Bryant. Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna were part of a group of nine people who were killed last month in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California.
